Prehospital protocol breathing difficulty

Perform general assessment

1. Check Vital Signs
2. 100% O2 NRB (blow-by only if needed to decrease agitation)
3. Suction (bulb or mechanical) if excessive secretions are present
4. Assist Ventilations with BVM as needed
