Snake bites

Overview

In the United States, snake bites can be organized into Crotaline (Pit Vipers) and Elapidae (Coral Snakes). Although somewhat simplified, the Crotalidae family also includes rattlesnakes, Sistrurus and Agkistrodon species (water moccasins and copperheads).
