Background
- Extremely rare (<1% of all carpal fractures)
- Occurs via axial load onto index metacarpal
Clinical Features
- Tenderness along radial aspect augmented by applying pressure along index metacarpal
Imaging
- Difficult to visualize on x-ray; CT or MRI may be necessary
