If all are present AND low suspicion for PE, no D-dimer needed:

- Use this criteria if confident in excluding PE with negative D-dimer

-*B- No blood in sputum
+#Age <50yr
-*R- Room air sat > 95%
+#Pulse ox >94% (room air)
-*E- No estrogen or hormone use
+#HR <100
-*A- Age < 50
+#No prior PE or DVT
-*T- No  prior DVT or PE
+#No recent surgery or trauma (within prior 4wk)
-*H- HR < 100
+#No hemoptysis
-*S- No surgery/trauma requiring hospitalization in past 4 weeks
+#No estrogen use
+#No unilateral leg swelling
