- Trigeminal neuralgia
- Tick paralysis
- Herpes zoster oticus (Ramsay Hunt syndrome)
- CNS tumor
- Acoustic neuroma or other cerebellopontine angle lesions
- Meningioma
- Cerebellar pontine angle
- Facial nerve schwannoma
- Parotid
- Sarcoma
- Anesthesia nerve blocks
- Cerebral Aneurysms (vertebral, basilar, or carotid)
